Our Programmes
At Equine Learning CIC we operate an inclusive equestrain centre where therapeutic and mainstream activities run side by side. We offer a variety of learning programmes with horses which are open to all (see below for details). We also work in partnership with The Centaurus Trust (charity number 1133212) to offer funded access to our programmes for local disabled and disadvantaged people. New- Equine Qualifications
We are now working with a fantastic training provider to offer a Certificate and Diploma in Equine Skills. The course will be available to 14 to 19 year olds and will operate at the stables on a day release basis. For more information please contact us
Equine Facilitated Learning
Individual sessions - ground work with the horses. Aim to improve confidence, self-esteem and personal development through learning 'horse whispering' techniques. Activities involve rope work, lunging, free schooling, join up and obstacle course work.
£35 per hour
Group sessions - using the same techniques as the individual sessions, group sessions focus on teambuilding, communication and confidence building activities. Working as a team to complete ground work tasks with the horses.
£20 per person per hour
Work Experience
This programme involves learning horse care and other transferrable skills for the workplace, and is available to young people and adults. Participants work at the stables completing day to day tasks with the horses around the yard. Each participant also has the opportunity to complete ASDAN awards, which can count towards recognised qualifications ( www.asdan.org.uk). This programme is part funded through the The Centaurus Trust. Please contact us for more informaton.

Sensory Work
Sensory work with the horses can be a very powerful experience, and can include activities such as grooming and bareback riding. These sessions are tailored to meet the needs of the individual. Please contact us for more information.
Pony Day Camp
Ground work in the morning, horse-riding in the afternoon. The pony day camp is an all round learning experience and an excellent introduction to horses. Confidence building, fun activities in small groups (max 3).

Horse Boy Camps
