Horse Riding & Lessons

Our horse riding lessons are designed to offer a positive 'all round' equestrian learning experience. We believe there is more to spending time with horses than riding and we encourage our participants to learn how to prepare and care for horses before and after riding. Our lessons are available for children and adults, and we also offer group hacks.

Lessons can include:
  • Grooming and tacking-up before riding   
  • Individual or small group (max 4) instruction    
  • Hacking in the countryside with access to beautiful off road riding   
  • Stable management   
An assessment lesson is compulsary for all participants so we can match you with a suitable horse and group (if applicable).
 
Horse riding prices 2011:
  • Assessment lesson       - £20
  • Private 3/4 hour           - £35
  • Half-hour                     - £20
  • Group hour                  - £25
  • Hacking - from             - £20
  • Pony rides (age 4 to 6) - £12
  • Funded horse-riding sessions are also available for local disabled and disadvantaged people through our charity The Centaurus Trust. Please contact us for more information.
