Horseboy Camps

We are proud to work alongside The Horse Boy team to offer 4 day horsemanship camps for autism families during the spring and summer holidays. These camps were inspired by Rupert Isaccson's trip across Mongolia with his wife Kristen and their son Rowan in search for help with the challenges Rowan faced due to his autism. The camps combine Horseboy method with our own therapeutic activities and are designed so the whole family can enjoy our horses in a beautiful and relaxing environment.

Testimonials:

'We first heard about The Horse Boy Camps after seeing a clip about them on the television. Having two young boys with query ASD we felt it was something we had to try. The idea of camping with two little boys wasn't an idea we were relishing, but they loved being outdoors and exploring the open fields. The 4 day programme was full and varied, the boys particularly enjoyed the sensory sessions when they could stroke the horses and sit/lay on the horses bare back. It was lovely to spend time with other families in a relaxed, non-judgemental environment and share experiences of having children with ASD. The staff and volunteers at the camp were fantastic, even helping us to erect the tent in the pouring rain! Would definitely recommend it to others'.
